We are Jon and Cindy and have three sons, Nick, James, and Robert, and one dog, Max. We began tent camping in 2006 and especially like staying at state parks in our home state of West Virginia and neighboring areas.
We spent our first family camping trip at Kanawha State Forest where we were awakened in the night by a screech owl – the first we’d ever heard! After that, we were hooked on camping and have never looked back.
